Dr. Ben Tindal’s journey began in northern Indiana, where he was born and raised, instilling in him the Midwestern values of hard work and dedication. Just before his senior year, he moved to Florida with his family, a transition that marked the beginning of his deep connection to the Sunshine State. Dr. Tindal's passion for prosthodontics goes beyond clinical expertise; he is dedicated to treating every patient as if they were a part of his own family. This commitment to patient-centered care is at the heart of his practice, where he specializes in dental prosthetics, dental implants, and a wide array of advanced restorative treatments designed to help each patient achieve optimal oral health and a confident smile.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tindal cherishes quality time with his wife and their four children – two boys and two girls – whether they’re enjoying the outdoors or bonding over shared hobbies. As a car enthusiast, Dr. Tindal loves diving into the intricacies of automotive mechanics, a passion that reflects his appreciation for detail and precision. He also finds joy in playing the guitar, using music as a creative outlet to unwind and recharge. Football season is a special time for Dr. Tindal, and you’ll often find him enthusiastically supporting the Florida Gators.

Dr. Tindal’s dedication to service extends into the community, where he actively participates in charitable organizations. Through Project Christmas Smiles, he provides much-needed dental care for individuals and families who might otherwise go without, embodying his belief in giving back to those in need. He is also a proud supporter of SPARCC (Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center), a nonprofit that provides crucial resources and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Dental Education and Professional Background
Dr. Tindal’s journey in dentistry began with a strong educational foundation, earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. Driven by a passion for patient care and restorative dentistry, he went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Florida. Here, his exceptional work in prosthodontics caught the attention of faculty and peers alike, earning him a special award from the American College of Prosthodontics. This recognition highlighted not only his skill but also his commitment to excellence in dental prosthetics, paving the way for his advanced studies.

With a desire to hone his skills further, Dr. Tindal completed a rigorous three-year prosthodontic residency program at the University of Florida. During this time, he earned both a master’s degree and a certificate in prosthodontics, training extensively in advanced restorative techniques, dental implants, and complex treatment planning. His dedication and leadership were acknowledged when he was appointed chief resident in his final year, a role awarded by his peers and mentors that underscores his commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork.

Dr. Tindal’s passion for modern esthetic dentistry also led him to conduct groundbreaking research in composite bonding, culminating in a master’s thesis that explored advancements in the materials and techniques used for restorative work.
